My name is Miguel Pierre and I live in Queens (New York City). Currently, I’m a environmental science student at Queens College.  I consider myself a weather forecaster and storm chaser in the Northeast or Plains, when I’m off other work or school.  I was previously a forecaster and contributor at New York Metro Weather and at Empire Weather. I’ve been posting as “Weathergun” on several forums for many years. But these days, I just post mostly on 33andrain.

Currently, I’m in the process of updating this site, after many years of downtime. Many of my posts and updates will focus on the NYC metro/Tri-state Area and the Northeast US . But from time to time, I will post blogs or videos on significant weather events, such as winter storms, severe weather and hurricanes affecting other areas of the country and elsewhere.
